The PFTA (Parent Friend Teacher Association) is a group of volunteers that meets every half term to organise fundraising events on behalf of the school. Money raised directly benefits all children and provides the school with additional funding to support the curriculum. Annual events include: an autumn event; a Christmas Fayre; a Spring event and a Summer Fayre. During 2021-22, the PFTA funded our school dog Hetty (named after the first girl on the sch
ool's admission register, Henrietta), new books, the front site regeneration and resources.
All parents and teachers are members of the PFTA and are welcome to attend any meetings. Meetings are held at Blackwell First School or Blackwell Club.
