Happy Easter Blue Class

Hello Blue Class,

Well done for another great half term where we have enjoyed learning about The Vikings and Easter as well as enjoying our first bell boating session along the Alvechurch canal. Your performance on the steps last Wednesday to welcome in Spring gave your families a lovely start to their day and I think they were blown away with your final song where you sang in harmony.

All term you have continued to work with enthusiasm, care and effort and it was lovely to share your books during parent consultations to see the progress you are making. 'Take a Trip' is our new topic when we return where another award winning text, 'Journey to Jo'burg' and new challenging but exciting learning await us alongside the opportunity to revisit previous knowledge and skills to help you become confident and competent learners.

Have a well deserved rest over the holiday but also try and find time to work on your targets that were sent home including regular reading and times table practise (see if you can master the 7s and start to learn the 9s). Doing this a little and often will make a big difference and help you make further progress next term. We look forward to seeing you on Monday 28th April but in the meantime have a lovely Easter break.

Keep safe and have fun!

Love from Miss Townsend and Miss Kuriger x
