Well done everyone for enjoying our 'Arts Festival' today. Reception and Years 1 and 2 made a good job of their retells, songs, poems and rhymes. Children in Years 3 and 4 performed in small groups so well and with confidence, either reciting poetry, playing their instruments or playing as part of the music group. Thank you to everyone who was able to come along and listen. It was good to see that we can all fit onto our new steps...a great new performing space for us.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs Moss :)
Phase 2 of our building project has been completed and the building and front playground have been completed. Phase 3 is to complete the work on the grounds. Please come and view progress so far after school on Tuesday 12th April.
Please use the entrances/exits as outlined in this document when school opens on 12.4.16.
Well done for running your exhibition this morning. Dinosaurs certainly hooked the little visitors who enjoyed the dinosaur footprint painting and dinosaur dig. Year 1 offered superb entertainment with their tool making, home building and photographer's studio...even if the fur tunics were a little snug for the adults. Yellow Class presented a super class assembly, amazing us with their skills and knowledge. The quiz was tricky for your grown ups! The Bronze Age activities were a hit with all. Finally, thank you to Blue Class for Iron Age entertainment and a fabulous cafe. Mrs Barker's rock cakes and dinosaur biscuits were very popular. The morning showed what a lot you have all learned as well as the good skills you are developing in communication and teamwork.
We have an exciting week planned for next week, leading up to Easter...and Thursday is the day when we move into our new building. All of the classes will enjoy a tour on Thursday. What an exciting time!
