Winter Woolies!

Hello Red class,

Well done for another great week! You all looked great today for Children In Need.

Now that the weather is starting to get colder and some of you are bringing in gloves, scarves and hats, please make sure your name is in each item. We've had a few mislaid items already.

Thank you. Have a great weekend. Remember to practise your keys words.

Chickens!

Dear Children,

Jasmine, Dylan and Isobel, who are chicken carers, have chosen the names for our new chickens.

Thank you to everyone who submitted ideas. They were all great.

We have chosen:

1. Black Beauty for the black chicken (named by Erin and Jake);
2. Coco for the brown, speckled chicken (named by Darcey); and
3. Yvette for the brown chicken (named by Lilia).

Yvette has the same name as a chicken in the book 'Mr Chicken goes to Paris' and Lilia met Leigh Hobbs the author of the book and her inspiration for the name came from this book.

We hope you enjoy meeting the chickens soon!

Well Done Red Class

Dear Children,

Well done for working so hard this half term. You are working really well as a team and playing with your friends nicely. You have worked hard on learning your sounds and numbers.

Have a lovely half term break. Practise your key words over the holiday.

Well Done Red Class 2013

Dear Red Class,

I just wanted to say congratulations for making such a good start to school life. Remember next week we need our 'All about me' boxes so bring them in if you have not done so.
