Dear Red Class,
What an exciting week filled with Christmas plays, Christmas dinner and lots and lots of snow! You’ve coped tremendously well with the changes to your routine and I felt incredibly proud of your performances. When I think back to those shy little characters, who walked through the door in September, and then I watch you dance, sing and perform, it makes me appreciate just how much you’ve grown in confidence and how much you’ve changed. You were an absolute credit to your school and your families. Also, a big well done to the children in Green, Purple, Yellow and Blue for your fantastic performances too. I can’t wait to see the DVD.
Today’s highlight was a very tasty Christmas dinner and it tasted even better wearing a snowflake party hat! Thank you to Mrs Barker and Mr Hopkins who always work incredibly hard in the kitchen to make such healthy, delicious meals. One child said, “This is the best Christmas dinner.” I think I might ask Mrs Barker for a few tips myself!
Next week, we ‘re looking forward to the pantomime, Christmas party and our wake and shake competition. Over the weekend, please check PE kits just in case a stray pump has wandered into your bag and if you’ve written Christmas cards, please send them into school by Monday. Finally, if you have any 'junk', spare ribbon or wool, please send it into school to replenish the workshop for the New Year.
Enjoy a relaxing weekend Red Class,
Mrs Webb, Miss Turner and Mrs Roberts
