In the cabin this week in “Maths” we have gone pattern crazy ~ patterns on socks, clothing, toys and animals. Our “Communication and Language” sessions have focused on the story “Brown Bear, Brown Bear”. We had fun visiting Red class’ interactive whiteboard to watch the story and spot the colours. We then enjoyed creating our own puppet characters from the story and sang along to the song. Our favourite listening sessions this week have definitely been the ones that involved the recording paperclip ~ how funny it was to hear our voices being played back! These daily sessions have really improved your listening skills; even Mrs Moss was impressed with how well you can stay focused now.
Our play in Forest School has taken a turn this week as everything was frozen ~ mud, sand, water in the gully. It hasn’t stopped us having fun though with more circle time fun, chalking patterns and creating our stick man characters using our wrapping skills. You all worked well together to create our very own nursery theatre ~ we had performers, a curtain and seats for the audience. It was great to see you then taking our indoor puppet show of “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” outside this afternoon.
We hope you have a lovely weekend and remember to show your grownups, brothers and sisters how great you are with those helping hands! See you next week for some Diwali themed fun!
