Hello Families of Outdoor Explorers,
It has been another busy week in Nursery this week. The children have explored in the brand new waterproof mittens and discovered that even on the chilliest of days, being well dressed keeps everyone snug and warm. Having their own gloves underneath their new waterproof ones keeps them extra toasty.
You may have spotted that Mrs Mander has been missing. She has injured her neck and is sadly not able to be in school until it is better. Luckily, Mrs Allen along with other school staff have kept the show on the road and next week Mrs Allen and Mrs Roberts will be in charge. We are grateful to Mrs Webb for supporting everyone.
Out in the Nursery outdoor area, the children have been learning about lighting fires and learning the rules before they actually light a fire and discovering how the weather and foliage changes as the seasons change. The children have continued with their listening games and number work and are beginning to recognise and talk about numbers in their outdoor play.
We wish Mrs Mander a speedy recovery and hope to see her very soon.
