Happy Half Term Everyone!
Well done for a great first half term of 2018 and what a lot of learning we have done. A theatre trip, magical learning journeys, the start of employment and earning Blackwell pounds, being crowned Wake 'n' Shake champions and creating a beautiful class display of clay divas are just some of the highlights.
So... I hope you all have a great half term and a well-deserved rest.
When we return, we have a fascinating new topic where we will be learning about a period of history that I imagine will be new to most of you. In addition, we are really lucky to have an artist coming to work with us to help with our new project. All will be revealed when we return to school!
Finally, on Thursday 1st March, it is World Book Day. We certainly love our books in Blue Class and when I asked you for possible holiday homework linked to this, your ideas were endless. So... if you would like to get busy over the holiday, get creative with your favourite book. Some of your ideas (and mine) include:
1. Create a character model
2. Create a storybox
3. Create a book-based game
4. Write a book review
5. Write an alternative version or a sequel
6. Write a playscript for part of the story
7. Create a picture of your favourite scene...
Have fun and you can bring your creations to school on World Book Day to share with us all.
Once again, have a lovely holiday.
Love from Miss Townsend and Mrs Marks xxx
